Customer Solutions Group: Just scratching the surface of Microsoft Surface.
Interactive shopping with Best Buy and Surface

Microsoft Surface moved multi-touch technology up a notch by creating a multi-user experience. Technically, 52 users can interact simultaneously, assuming most have very long arms: necessary to reach around the 30” display. They also took the PC to the next level: leave the mouse, keyboard, and wires out and slide up to a completely smooth, vibrant workstation. The only point of interaction is the screen: from here you can manipulate digital information with your hands!

Sound great? Want to get your hands on one now? Here at Customer Solutions Group, a Microsoft Strategic Partner, we are now taking the Microsoft Surface technology into the Retail world through a Solution we call Digital Folio. CSG has developed engaging and interesting Microsoft Surface apps for Best Buy. The Reward Zone Research Centers in Best Buy in Fort Collins, CO and Maple Grove, MN: each have three fully-equipped Microsoft Surface units ready to be explored.

The app puts the entire Best Buy inventory at your fingertips (pun intended). You can access your Digital Folio™ on the Microsoft Surface unit and see items you may have previously populated at home, on your phone, or from earlier trips into the store. You can search, compare and research any item, by sliding filters to specify price and rating, to click on/off preferences, read user/CNET reviews, compare items side by side and more.

Blue Shirts has bonus capability on the Microsoft Surface, to give you access to information you’d never find anywhere else. All in all, your trip into the store just got more fascinating and rewarding. Check it out today and let us know about your experience!
